Uvea is the middle, pigmented, vascular structure, which include the iris, ciliary body and the choroid. The Uvea plays a very important role in the functioning of the eye. Uveitis is the inflammation of the Uvea.
It usually is an isolated disease, and can associated with many conditions, which includes the diseases with major involvement of other body parts, as well as any syndromes related to the eye.
